Up to eight vehicles can compete simultaneously on one of 45 courses, and players have the option to either repair or purchase new cars in between each race. Players can also enter their vehicles in six demolition derby arenas, where the last car left sputtering is declared the winner. A total of 16 cars are available to drive, each with varied handling and characteristics based on their real-life counterparts.
I still like the graphics of FlatOut 2 best though. If There Was ever a game that evoked the bygone spirit of Destruction Derby, then its FlatOut 2 - the only game to accurately model real drivers flying through real windscreens (with perhaps an ounce of gravitational artistic licence). Better graphics and gameplay mechanics than the first, and Ultimate Carnage is just FlatOut 2 with GFWL and supposedly improved graphics.
